Wind power

When on holiday in Scotland this year we met some women from Scoraig at a local market in Poolewe. Scoriag is a peninsula on the west coast of Scotland but even though it is attached to the mainland, the local inhabitants use boats to get across the water. They have no electricity except what they produce themselves. Apparently there is a man who lives there called Hugh and he has done wonders with wind power. I looked him up when we got home under 'Scoraig wind' and sure enough, he has a website that expains what he has achieved. It makes interesting reading:
